A Thank You card was received earlier this month from Felishia Walker and it reads:
To: The Compassionate Care Team and My AMCC Family
From: Felishia Goodwin and her mother, Linda Walker
Family,
My mother was extremely encouraged by your card. She called me to share her happiness. As the day approached, she read the card more & more during that time because it so strengthened her heart. By the time it was surgery day, she had moved from reading the card to praying through it. I do not believe that I have ever seen such a small gesture, as a card, have such a big impact. Thank you so much for the card, your thoughts, your prayers, and the silent groans of the Holy Spirit that carried us both during this challenging time.
To encourage you even further, my mother’s surgery was the first of it’s kind in Columbus, GA. My mother and her doctor were interviewed by the Ledger-Enquirer. The article appears in the Life & Health section of the paper published Tuesday , October 1, 2013.
