Update: Prayer for Doris Cousin Tongo Blackmon. My cousin was in a rehabilitation facility for about three weeks to gain strength, but she is now back in the hospital. The doctor’s don’t really know what the true problem is (they aren’t blaming it on her leukemia or her ulcerative colitis). She can hardly feed herself and since being in the hospital off and on since June, she has gone from 190 pounds to 125 pounds. Our continued prayers would just be a huge support.

It’s a very wonderful day that the Lord has made! My cousin is awake and talking. The doctor’s have no clue what happened or even how she’s fine again, but to God be the glory!!! She will stay in the hospital for a bit more tests, but she should be home soon.

Please pray for my cousin Tongo Shay Blackmon. She was found on the floor barely responsive in her home Friday evening. She doesn’t have immediate family around (just aunts and uncles) so the doctors aren’t really telling us what is going on. As of this weekend she is just opening her eyes for a little bit and then closing them back. My cousin has been fighting leukemia and ulcerative colitis for years. I’m not sure if these things have anything to do with what is going on. She is the only caretaker for a great aunt that has alzheimer’s (that’s the one who found her in the floor). So please pray for God to be gracious and bless in this situation.

Update: Pray for loss of Doris Ragland’s cousin Tongo (Shay) Blackmon
My cousin Shay had been home from the hospital for a week (she had been back & forth in the hospital for about nine months) and she slipped and fell in her home and hit her head. She had successful brain surgery after that but passed away last night. Please pray for my family during this time. Thank you.
