Update: Please Pray for Kwana and Mother

May 28, 2025 by compassioncare

Good afternoon Family,
I just wanted to say thank you all for continuing to pray for me and my family. Just to give a quick update:

– The memorial service for my Aunt was encouraging. we are processing it better. as best as we can still. But grief is still grief. loss of loved one or job or whatever it may be, still hits different each time. and doesn’t get any easier as we age, I’m learning.

– The Job search for me is still ongoing. I got some interviews, unfortunately the recruiters and hiring Managers I spoke to said either I was not a good fit or they went with someone else for those roles. even though my resume was impressive. or I follow up but don’t get a response one way or the other. That’s been a bit discouraging. but I will keep applying.

– My savings have run out and I have about another week or so of unemployment. So please pray God will keep me afloat financially until I get a long term or permanent Job offer and start date. sooner rather than later

On a positive note, I did get a two week assignment but It won’t start for two weeks, not enough time to get my rent in by June 4th, I’m short about $450 exactly. and I am trying to avoid a late fee. hoping to avoid paying this if I can help it.

Thanks everyone. Sincerely, Kwana

[4.26.25] Please pray once more for my mom as some of you may know she’s 81 and has been having some health challenges from my prior post.
She lost her last eldest sister my aunt last Thursday. And everyone has their own way of grieving.
I lost my job due to federal cuts and was laid off this past March. Do have unemployment but it is running out soon l. I have been applying for stable work but no response yet.
Savings now nonexistent. Have most of rent for May but my next unemployment payment out may come day after rent is due in full by the 4th of May. So prayers for me and my family thru the grief and my anxiety. And me to stay afloat financially until I get a Job offer. So there’s a lot here thank you for you prayers.

Sincerely Kwana
