Embrace happiness & each other as much as you can because you never know what tomorrow will bring. Especially when life is short & the many possibilities of tragedy lead to suffering & grief. This is a fragile state of being, unpredictable & there are no guarantees. We are all precious in his eyes though we’re here just temporarily visiting. We are blessed far more than we ever imagine & greater than our eyes can fathom to see.
Yet we forsake & take for granted the individuals who should mean the most indeed & abuse them inadvertently through neglect or rejection unfortunately. We’re too consumed with ourselves, too good to bother or maybe too busy pursuing money. There are an endless number of excuses as to why but it often falls under one of the categories. Until the loss of that special person permanently to eternity. It’ll make you wish you could hold them in your arms eternally.
One minute you are here & the very next second merely scattered away lost in the wind nearly instantaneously. Fallen captive to the vulnerable souls left behind in their thoughts as unforgettable heartfelt memories. That is why it’s best to appreciate each other for our differences & accept one another for being unique. Laugh hard until you cry & cry til more laughter makes you weak. Smile in the limelight of victory & even smile in the shadows of danger, failure & defeat.
Treasure the gift of the present while cherishing the experiences of previously lived opportunities. Just a breath away from death don’t ever know when the last shall be. So love love & let love it’s more of what this world needs. If you care about somebody don’t just say it show them exactly what you mean. Give kindness to those that hate, display to strangers random acts of hospitality. Exhibit compassion to associates, friends & above all family.
Now as I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. Forgive us for what we know not & forget our indignity. Like the lair who doubted Jesus & the thief who sincerely believed. Judge not according to our deeds but by the measure of faith in our hearts even if no more than the quantity of a grain of mustard seed. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us to the promise of prosperity. Allow the graces of your tender mercy to transcend comfort & grant the burdened stricken population across the globe serenity.
May the spirit of your splendor & majesty be magnified with honor & glory forever increased. I pray that this message reaches the hearts & minds of those willing to receive & for the sake of humanity the content expressed isn’t taken lightly. Dear Lord hear the words I speak from clasped hands & bent knees. Not my will but thy will be done & in any event may we find everlasting joy, hope & peace. By truth & honesty is my soul therefore set free. Almighty heavenly father I’m not a saint but more you & less me.
1 Peter 5:1-11
1 To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: 2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
5 In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,
“God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble.”
6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.11 To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.
1st I want to thank God for everything I have & I would also like to give a special thanks to my Dad who inspired me to write this post. I doubt he has any idea of the positive impact he impressed upon me with what few things he said. The first couple of sentences in fact were wise words he gave me not too long ago. The rest manifested itself authored not by me but by the divinity & perfect love reciprocated through me. It is an amazing thing to witness the Lord perform his miraculous works & demonstrate his glorious power. I am gratefully honored to be an entruted vessel found worthy the gift & talents of creatively delivering messages of faith, hope & love.
